Avenues for Hope

This year the Twin Falls School District will be participating in the Avenues for Hope campaign. This program will allow our district to inform our community about the challenges some of our students are facing. Hopefully, the community will provide financial support for these students. During the 2020-21 school year, the TFSD identified 360 school children and younger siblings as homeless based on the qualifications for the McKinney-Vento Program.  We are on track to have more than that number this school year.  This means that children didn’t have fixed, adequate, or regular housing.  We rely heavily on our community to help meet the needs of these families. What can you do to help?

With a goal of $5,000, the TFSD saw an outpouring of community support through this campaign last year, raising $7,078 to establish an angle fund that can be used for the most immediate needs to help bridge the gap and get these families back on their feet. The Avenues for Hope organization has secured sponsors and will be providing additional funding throughout the campaign so that every dollar you donate can add up to so much more.
