A group of our 5th grade students have been embracing The Leader in Me habits. They created videos to showcase what each habit means to them. Students worked in groups to find books which embodied each of the 7 habits. Once they did this, they created informative short films about each habit. This is the first in a series of 7 articles about the habits.
Habit 1 — Be Proactive
You're in Charge
I am a responsible person. I take initiative. I choose my actions, attitudes, and moods. I do not blame others for my wrong actions. I do the right thing without being asked, even when no one is looking.
