In order to provide parents with a variety of opportunities to get their kindergartner ready for the fall, South Central Public Health will have walk-in immunizations available every Wednesday from April 12th through May 17th from 08:30 am to 5:30 pm.
South Central Public Health removes several barriers that parents encounter when trying to get immunizations for their child:
- No separate office visit fees
- Does not need to be an established patient
- Fast appointment times (average of 15-20 min total)
- No charge if child does not have health insurance and parent is unable to pay
- One stop for immunizations for all school age students – so all siblings can come in at one time
While this is specifically targeted for kindergarten students, we offer all immunizations for children through 18 years of age so siblings and other grades are welcome to attend.
Per IC 39-4802, parents may submit exemptions for immunizations in lieu of immunization records to the school district in which they wish to enroll.
