If your student will need a bus seat this fall, we need your information in our system to include them in the route planning. If you have already filled out the form for the 226-27 school year, you are all set!

Dear TFSD Families,
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we need your help to understand where students will be riding the bus to school. Today, we are officially opening the Bus Service Registration for the 2026-2027 school year.
Why this matters: We design our bus routes every year based on the families who sign up. Even if your child rode the bus last year, you must fill out this form so we can accurately map stops and keep ride times as short as possible.
Deadline to register: July 31

If you plan to drive your student, carpool, or if they will walk, you do not need to complete the form. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school community moving efficiently.

We celebrated big milestones—our kindergarteners completing their very first year of elementary school and our 5th graders finishing their final year with us. We also had the special opportunity to welcome Canyon Ridge seniors as they walked our hallways, giving our students a glimpse into their future.
The final days were filled with joy and celebration, from field trips and class parties to our memorable 5th Grade Clap Out.
Thank you to all of you for supporting your child, our teachers, and our school. It truly made this year something special. What a fantastic year it has been—enjoy your summer! ☀️

You are still absolutely welcome to join us, spend time outside, and enjoy the picnic with your child—feel free to bring a lunch from home if needed! 🧺

All week long, our teachers felt so loved by our students and our amazing Oregon Trail families. Thank you for supporting us and showing your appreciation—we truly love what we do!
Our fourth graders kicked off the week with Pioneer Days fun, fifth graders captured memories with their graduation pictures and got to tour South Hills Middle School, and our line dancers did an incredible job performing at Engage in Education. Our paras went above and beyond by popping popcorn for every student and giving teachers some extra work time (such a gift!). Students were also treated to 10 summer meal coupons from Burger King, and ICCU spoiled our staff with a delicious lunch for Teacher Appreciation Week.
We are so grateful to be part of such a supportive community. Thank you for loving and taking care of us! 💙

We came together to celebrate Poetry Month by listening to some of Mrs. Ferrara’s students share their poems—what a great way to kick things off! We wrapped up our assembly with an encouraging message from Ms. Schroeder and Mrs. Peacock: “Finishing strong with paws.” 🐾 They reminded students of our schoolwide goals and expectations, sharing a powerful message: “We want you at every activity. Your choices decide if you stay. We aren’t taking away fun—we are protecting it.”
Our kindergarteners had an exciting visit from the Twin Falls Fire Department 🚒, we kept the fun going with line dancing in the sunshine ☀️, and our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders powered through and completed their final ISAT tests!
We’re so proud of everyone for continuing to finish the year strong!

Her passion for education shines through in every decision she makes, always putting students first. Oregon Trail is incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and inspiring leader.
Happy Principal Appreciation Day, Ms. Schroeder! 💙
