Join us for Read Across America Week! We're kicking it off tomorrow with a fun and cozy activity - Bring a stuffed animal to school and read to it! We can't wait to see all of our students enjoying special reading time with their favorite cuddly friend!

Barsa visited three classrooms during morning meeting yesterday. Students were engaged in conversations about their fluency goals, learning about the range of natural emotions we experience throughout the day, and practicing hand motions connected to our core values.
Thank you to our staff and students for starting the morning with such focus, positivity, and purpose.

Congrats, Ms. Boeddiker's 3rd grade class! They were the 11th correct reply with the title for our "What's This Song?!? Wednesday" Award. The song this week was "Life is a Highway" performed by Rascal Flatts.

📸 Reminder: Tomorrow is Picture Day.

Join us in celebrating our amazing students who were recognized at yesterday’s assembly! 🎉
Two students from each class were acknowledged for showing the most growth on their Amira Tests. We are so proud of their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to learning. Keep up the great work! 👏📚✨

Week 23 brought lots of sniffles and sickness. We missed so many of our sweet kiddos — and even some of our staff — but we are so thankful everyone has four days to rest, recover, and come back feeling better. ❤️
Even with absences, there were still so many bright spots! Our 5th graders had a blast creating sock puppets in Ms. Denny’s room, students bundled up and braved the chilly recess weather, and some of our 3rd graders have been working so hard practicing for their upcoming performance — we can’t wait to see them shine!
We wrapped up the week with a fun dress-up day filled with red, pink, and white. It was the perfect way to end Week 23! 💕

Week 22 was truly one to remember! Our school resource officer stopped by to connect with students, classrooms gathered on the carpet for engaging lessons, and students practiced respectful conversations with their peers. One-on-one support was provided as needed, and students worked hard throughout the week. We danced the night away at our family dance on Thursday evening, wrapped things up with a fun neon dress-up day, and one of our favorite moments was celebrating our amazing school counselor. What a fantastic week of learning, connection, and community!

🎉 Congrats to Mr. Sheen’s Class! 🎉
They are currently winning the schoolwide Fluency Challenge and have earned a well-deserved pizza party! Way to work hard and read strong! 🍕📚
